Sarris Candies Donation Request Policies and Guidelines (Updated 2025)

At Sarris Candies, we are committed to supporting our community and giving back to organizations that make a positive impact. To ensure fairness and efficiency in handling donation requests, we have established the following policies and guidelines:

Eligibility Criteria:

• We prioritize donations to organizations, schools, and community groups that participate in one of our fundraising programs.
• Requests must come from organizations located within the regions where Sarris Candies operates, primarily Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding areas.
• Donations are typically provided for fundraising events, charity auctions, or community programs that align with our values.
• Organizations may submit one request per calendar year.

Note: Monetary donation requests are not accepted.

Review Process:

• Requests are reviewed by our Donations Committee on a weekly basis.
• Organizations that have been approved will be notified within 1 week.
• Approved donations must be picked up at our Canonsburg location.
• If you did not receive an email confirming your request, you did not meet our criteria for giving.

Request for Submission Guidelines:

• Requests must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the event date.
• Requests must be submitted through our online donation request form on the Sarris Candies website.
• Mail, email or phone requests will not be accepted.
• Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

Exclusions:

• Individuals or personal fundraisers.
• Events outside our geographic focus.
• Activities or efforts such as competitions, golf outings, recognition events, holiday parties, door prizes, giveaways, and rewards or other incentive programs are not eligible for a donation.
• Sponsorships or donations for individuals or teams, (for example, walk-a-thons, contests, pageants, scholarships, reunions, or ambassador programs) will not be considered.
• Donations for families or individuals will not be considered.
