Pecanette Cookies



  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Sarris Candies Cocoa Powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Sarris Candies Milk Chocolate Blossoms, chopped
  • ½ cup caramel bits
  • ½ cup chopped pecans



  1. Combine the chopped Chocolate Blossoms, pecans, and caramel bits in a bowl and mix.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350º F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.
  4. In a separate bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy, about 1 minute. Add in the egg and vanilla and mix again.
  5. Add the dry ingredients and the ingredients from step 1 to the wet ingredients and mix with a spatula until just combined.
  6. Use a cookie scoop to form 1 inch dough balls and place the 3 inches apart on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges of cookie look puffy. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving to a cooling rack.
