Production Team Member

Responsibilities:

• These positions entail working on a production line and requires placing and or removing items on a moving belt, ensuring the quality of each piece and packing the covered pieces in boxes to be used in other parts of the plant or repackaged for sale.
• Other duties include ensuring personal and work area cleanliness and keeping supplies stored according to quality rules and regulations. Minimum record-keeping and reporting may also be required.
• Visually inspect the products for quality and size specifications, and test products or packaging before shipping.
• Bagging products for distribution, attaching labels, and packaging finished products for shipment or storage.
• Perform routine housekeeping and other cleaning and sanitation tasks as assigned by the Line Supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Line Supervisor.
• It requires working in a team atmosphere and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work occasional seasonal overtime.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Production experience preferred but not required as on-the-job training is provided.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for an entire shift.
• Bending, turning, and reaching.
• Lifting 5 – 30 pounds.
